Quincy Raceways Reschedules Deery Brothers Summer Series Event for April 23
Mother Nature did not cooperate for the Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models event originally scheduled for April 19. The event has been reschedule for Thursday, April 23. Also scheduled to compete in this event are the Triple R Performance Engines IMCA Stock Cars racing for $400 to Win plus IMCA State, Region and National Points as well as the Tim's Machine Shop Hobby Stocks racing for $250 to Win.
This will be the third event of the 2009 Deery Brothers Summer Series with Quincy's Jason Frankel and Mark Burgtorf both taking feature event wins. Burgtorf unofficially leads the point standings with 99, Jason Frankel 96, Jeff Aikey 95 and Ray Guss Jr. with 92. The first two events of the season drew a remarkable 66 and 61 entries so a large field of competitors are anticipated for this event.
Pit Gates open at 4, Grandstands at 5, Hot Laps at 6:30 and Racing at 7:00pm.
