NEWBERRYTOWN, Penn. (April 18) - The racing action at the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Saturday night, April 18 had Justin Ehrhart of Dover collecting his first Late Model victory of the season. Chambersburg's Doug Bennett won the 20-lap Street Stock main feature event. Spring Grove's Mike Zeigler Jr. continued his win streak by winning his third consecutive feature (dating back to the last race of 2008) in the highly competitive Xtreme Stock Car class. Dover's Mike Lomman was victorious in the XSC Rookie Rumble. John Durussel won the Mini Van feature and Paul Bacchus dominated the PENNMAR Vintage Car division.
The 20-lap Late Model feature event began with polesitter Cam Zeigler and Justin Ehrhart bringing te field to the green flag. Zeigler took the early lead. Ehrhart wrestled away the top spot on the second circuit. A caution on lap eight slowed the field giving Zeigler and third-place runner Chase Billet a shot at Ehrhart. On the restart, Ehrhart held off the challenge as the feature we non-stop over the final 12 laps. Ehrhart picked up the win over Zeigler and Charles Potts. Chase Billet finished fourth, followed by Pat Beard. Rounding out the top ten spots were Scott Fisher, Kyle Saylor, Carl Billet, Steve Bailor and Craig Wagaman. Qualifying heat races were won by Chase Billet and Chares Potts.
