BROWNSTOWN, Ind. (April 18) - Joe Janowski and Steve Godsey made up the front row for the 25 lap Super Late Model feature. Janowski would lead lap one, with Shannon Reed grabbing second. Mike Jewell moved around Godsey for third, as the field completed lap two. Jewell then moved around Reed to take second on lap three. Behind them, Chad Stapleton moved into fourth with a pass on Jeremy Hines. Up front, Jewell had closed the gap on Janowski on lap six, to within a car length for the lead. Jewell took the lead from Janowski on lap eight. Behind them, Godsey took the third spot back away from Reed as they moved down the backstretch. The caution flew on lap nine, as Duke Mounce spun in turn two. Jewell darted out to a four car advantage over Janowski on the restart, as Godsey closed in for second. The top five at halfway were Jewell, Janowski, Godsey, Reed, and Stapleton. On lap 13, Godsey used the highside to get around Janowski for the runner up spot. The caution would fly again on lap 15, as Tim Prince stopped outside the track in turn four. When racing resumed, Godsey stepped back up to the topside and started to mount a charge towards Jewell. With five to go, Jewell held a two car length advantage over Godsey. With four to go, Jewell and Godsey moved into lapped traffic, which slowed Godsey down considerably. This allowed Jewell to pull away and take the checkers.
