JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (April 17) - After being rained out last week, Ponderosa Speedway would return to action on Friday evening and Victor Lee of Stanford, KY would pick up his second straight Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model feature victory, while Jason Wheatley of Loretto, KY would also make it two straight wins by capturing the Clayton Homes Modified feature win. Zane Morgan of Junction City, KY would pick up the Kentucky National Guard Pro Late Model feature checkered flag, with Bartley Grant of Berea, KY winning his second straight Bob Allen Motor Mall main event.

The 25 lap Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model main event would see Billy Jones spin in turn two, negating the original start. The second attempted start would be a go and Victor Lee would jump to the race lead, with Jason Keltner, Justin Rattliff, Johnny Wheeler, and David Webb in pursuit. Caution would wave again to slow the action on lap 2 for debris in turn two. Back underway, Lee would again hold the point and begin to immediately pull away a bit from the battle for second between Keltner and Rattliff. Webb would take fourth from Wheeler on lap 7, while Terry Casey would pass Wheeler for fifth one circuit later. Casey would then set his sights on Webb and squeeze past him for fourth on lap 12. Meanwhile, Keltner and Rattliff had continued their duel for the runner-up slot, with Rattliff going to second on lap 14, with Casey coming along to take third. The final caution would wave on lap 15 when Joey Rigdon spun his machine in turn two. The restart would see Michael Chilton drive past Keltner and Webb on lap 16, with Webb getting by Keltner for fifth on lap 17, with Keltner pulling pitside one round later. The top five would remain the same over the final six trips with Lee taking the win in the seat of the Buzz Williams owned Kinney's Body Shop/Xtreme Style Graphics and Signs sponsored #B30 C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, Buzz Lightyear Race Engines powered machine. Rattliff, Casey, Chilton, and Webb would complete the top five. The rest of the top ten were Bobby Carrier, Jr., Brandon Fouts, Terry Keltner, Randy Ridner, and Jason Keltner. Fourteen entries would see Jason Keltner as top qualifier at 13.299 seconds, while Lee won the dash, with Casey winning the heat.
