CLEVELAND, Tenn. (November 21) - As son of the Cleveland (TN) Speedway track owner/promoter, 24-year old Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN, nothing comes as a "gimme" at the families facility. Saturday night, just prior to the LLM/CRATE 35 lap feature, Morrow claimed the O'Reilly Southern All-Star Rookie of the Year honors, then immediately hopped into his # T16 "TJ Hunt Trucking, Install America, KC Graphics" sponsored MasterSbilt / Race Engine Design powered racecar for back to back feature races. Starting third, behind Fast Qualifier Lamar Scoggins, Morrow would hold his own and race past Scoggins and early race leader Brandon Williams for the victory and the $2,500. JOE LEE JOHNSON MEMORIAL title, for the second time in his young career.

The ORIGINAL SUPERMAN Scott Sexton of Pigeon Forge, TN put a trace on Morrow from his fifth place starting position as cautions for Kenny Kizzar, Glenn Seaton III, Vince Grondzki, and Travis Reno littered throughout the "A" Main Feature. Scoggins faded late in the going as Brian Kinnersley of Blairesville, GA showed his power and battled Sexton for second late. Williams faded from the Top 5 as Rick Hixson worked up to fourth, as his teammate (and last weeks Crate Winner) Jerry Coffman would finish 7th overall. The East Tennessee Faithful would round out the Top 10 with THE MILK-MAN Mike Week, THE DIRTY WHITE BOY Anthony White and THE FLYIN WELSHAN Jason Welshan 8th - 10th.

Scoggins set fast time (14:207) Friday night with thirty-three (33) LLM/Crates signed in. Three Heat Races determined the remainder of the field for Saturday. White won heat # 1 while Hixson and Welshan took victories in the other two heats. In Divisional Local Racing Action: Richard Dixon of Cleveland, TN won the A-Hobby feature for the second consecutive week. The B-Hobby was won by Chuck Cooper with Graysville, TN's Kenny Kizzar taking the FWD checkers. In the Pony Kurt Owens seemed to e victorious, but a post race inspection denied him the victory handing it to Birchwood, TN's Steven Campbell. Cleveland Speedways NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER culminates next Saturday (Nov. 28th) with the SRRS $4,000 to-WIN Super Late Model GRANT ADCOX MEMORIAL. Visit www.clevelandspeedway.com for more details.
