HAGERSTOWN, Md. (October 24) - It was a long day with Mother Nature delivering the last of the precipitation forecast well in advance, but delayed qualifying for the 22nd Annual Octoberfest 350 was completed Saturday evening in just over 3 ½ hours.

In the 44 late model entries, Rick Eckert, D. J. Myers, Jason Covert and Al Shawver Jr. were heat winners while Tim Fuller and defending race winner, Tim McCreadie took the consolation events.

Hagerstown Speedway would like to thank the drivers, crewmen and car owners for their cooperation that greatly assisted with the progress of the qualifying efforts as well as the aforementioned and fans for their understanding while Mother Nature hindered all efforts to have started the program any earlier.

Gates open at 8:00 a.m. for the pits while grandstand entrance is at 9:30 a.m. Drivers meeting is at 11:45 with the first feature getting underway at 12:00 noon.
