BUSTI, N.Y. (September 12) - The final point race for the 2009 season was sponsored by Corry Lumber at Stateline Speedway. Double points were awarded in all divisions and the Spectator Special was run. Rod Maloy never gave up the top spot winning his third Super Late Model feature and Chad Valone became the 2009 Super Late Model Point Champion.

Scott Johnson spun in turn one on the first lap of the Super Late Model feature. Rod Maloy and John Lobb were in row one for the restart with point leader Chad Valone third. Maloy led Valone by three car lengths at end of lap one and before the second lap could be completed the yellow flew for Johnson and Ted Kosinski. Maloy remained the leader after the restart as Lobb, Valone and Andy Boozel fought for the number two spot. With ten laps complete Maloy was out in front by 15 car lengths and then number two spot was up for grabs. Lobb and Boozel tangled on lap fourteen allowing Valone to take second with Boozel third and Lobb fourth. Maloy was in lap traffic by lap fifteen with nearly a straight away lead over Valone. Doug Eck became a player with five laps remaining capturing fourth from Lobb. The race was for second as Maloy seemed untouchable. At the checkers Maloy grabbed his third win of the season and Chad Valone won his first Super Late Model Point Championship.
