ECKRICH SURVIVES CAUTIONS TO WIN LATE MODEL MAIN EVENT AT DUBUQUE SPEEDWAY

DUBUQUE, Iowa (September 6) - Andy Eckrich took the early race lead and never looked back. By lap 13 Eckrich had a straight away lead over Ron Klein and the rest of the field. On lap 19 Eckrich saw a caution he didn't want to see. Eckrich continued to lead after the restart with Klein and Jeff Larson behind him. The leader Eckrich saw several more cautions but continued to lead. Eckrich took home the Dubuque Season Championship Night feature win ahead of Jeremiah Hurst, Jake Meier, Klein and Mike Fryer.

Other feature wins were awarded to Jason Schueller in Modifieds, Terry Rittmer in Stock Cars, Jed Freiburger in B-Modified and Brian Kammerude in Limited Stocks.
