DUBUQUE, Iowa (August 30) -  Jill George used her pole start to lead the first lap of the late model feature Sunday night with Jeff Kennedy right behind her. On lap two Kennedy who was in second went straight into the backstretch wall and the caution was called. Jake Meier took over the race lead after the restart with Jason Rauen behind him. By lap three Rauen had raced his way to the lead. Rauen bobbled in turn two and looses the lead but luckily for him a caution was called. Rauen continued to lead after the restart. There was a four wide battle for the lead on lap seven with Rauen continuing to lead with Eckrich in second. Lap 12 Eckrich and Jeremiah Hurst went side by side for the second position with Hurst advancing to second. Hurst used the low line to race into the lead on lap 13. Laps 15 through 17 Hurst was slowed up behind lap traffic. After several cautions Hurst continued to lead. Rauen took over the race lead after a restart on lap 18. Rauen and Hurst were very close lap after lap with Rauen using the high side and Hurst using the low side. Rauen took home the race win ahead of Hurst, Mike Murphy, Eckrich and Jeff Larson.
