DUBUQUE, Iowa (August 23) - Becky Roth took the early race lead until Joel Callahan took over the race lead from on lap four. Callahan had to battle three and four wide to keep the race lead on lap six and nine. On lap 10 the leader of Callahan slowed in turn two and the caution was called. The leader was lost and a new battle arose for the lead. Ron Klein took the race lead with Jeremiah Hurst behind him Lap 15 Klein and Hurst went side by side for the race lead with Klein continuing to lead. Klein continued to lead after several cautions. On lap 21 there was a pile up in turn two where Jim Brokus was on top of Mike Murphy almost going over. Klein continued to lead until Darin Mish's 79 car climbed the turn four wall and fence and coming to a stop on the fence on lap 21. Klein continued to lead with Hurst hot on his heels. Hurst bobbled a bit on lap 22 and looses ground on Klein. Klein took home the feature win ahead of Hurst, Jeff Larson, Andy Eckrich, and Scott Riechers.
Other feature winners were Terry Neal (I.M.C.A. Late Models), Terry Rittmer (Stock Cars), Kurt Crist (B-Modified), Thomas Thompson (Limited Stock) and Jeremy Campbell (Farley Flyers)
