ORRVILLE, Ohio (August 22) - Shane McLoughlin made his only appearance this year at WSC one that will be remembered as he covered the field in grand style in the Late Model feature on Saturday night. A very strong filed of twenty five drivers signing into the pits to compete for the top prize.It was very obvious in the qualifying and heat races that it was going to be avery fast and multi grooved racing service.McLoughlin won the dash for the six fastest qualifiers and earned the right to start on the pole of the finale and wasted no time in securing the point.He was never pressure by anyone for the entire event,however behind the leader was where all the action was taking place with Corey Conley,George Lee and Ryan Markham was really mixing it up.The leader got into lap traffic on the fifteenth lap and handled it with smooth and precise moves.Conley and Lee were locked up in a entertaining fight for position as Lee went up to the top of the race track as did Markham but neither could gain any ground on the two front runners.Jason Flory found that the fastest way around the 3/8 mile speedplant was up on top as well and had worked his way from starting seventh and moved into the fourth spot on lap twenty one.Two laps later,Lee made his final charge on Conley for the runner up spot,made the pass and finished second with Conley taking third,Flory was fourth and Markham took the fifth place.Flory and Ricky Conley took the two heat wins and D.J Cline won the B main.
