CUMBERLAND, Md. (August 15) - The 20-lap Limited Late Model feature was off to a slow start--two cautions held up the first lap--when Armstrong took command on the third restart. He quickly turned a modest lead into a half of a straightaway before two more cautions at laps four and six.
Eventual runner-up Matt Parks showed Armstrong the nose of his car on those restarts and following two other later cautions. Parks came up empty each time exiting turn two and Armstrong won by 10 car lengths.
D.J. Troutman finished third after slipping to as low as 10th in the early laps. He picked up third when Tim Smith Jr. headed for the pits with two laps to go. Matt Sponaugle finished fourth after starting 11th and Rick Singleton completed the top five.
