CLEVELAND, Tenn. (August 8) - On a busy night at Cleveland Speedway Jake Knowles out dueled David Payne to win the SRRS Feature event for a $3,000 payday.

When the green flag fell to start the 40-lap feature event Derek Ellis would take the early lead with Knowles and Payne battling tooth and nail for the second spot. On the tenth circuit Payne would move into the runner up spot behind Ellis with Knowles settling into third.

On lap 26 Ellis would head for the pits with Knowles moving past Payne to take the top spot.

For the remaining laps the lead duo, followed by Lee Sutton, Branson Kinzer and William Thomas, would battle each other and deal with lapped cars on their way to the checkered flag.

The second five across the stripe were Tony Morris, Corey Posey, James Ward, Anthony Burroughs and Jay Brinkley.
