SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (July 25) - Jesse Redetzke and Doug Herrick battled early for the lead in the Altenburg Construction WISSOTA Late Model division while Keith Foss sat in third. Herrick took the advantage on lap two while Foss worked under Redetzke for second. With twenty one to go Foss worked into the lead while Lance Matthees and Mike Prochnow raced for fifth. A caution with eleven to go saw Redetzke work past Herrick for second, two laps later Herrick moved back under Redetzke for second as Foss pulled away from the field. Foss cruised home with the win, Herrick and Redetzke in the top three. Matthees worked past Kevin Kuehn to take home fourth. Kuehn and Redetzke took home heat race wins.
