BARDSTOWN, Ky. (July 25) - The Battle of the Bluegrass Modified Series presented by Graphic Impressions visited Bluegrass Speedway on Saturday evening and Bryan Barber of Greensburg, KY would score the 9th Annual Bluegrass Rumble victory and pick up a $1,500 payday for his efforts. In other action, Tim Tungate of Campbellsville, KY would drive to his 29th career 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model feature victory, while Brad Leake of Bardstown, KY would claim his first-career Street Stock feature event win.

The 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model feature event would see David Webb take the lead at the drop of the green flag at the end of lap one by just a car length over Tim Tungate, followed by Jeff Watson, Jason Keltner, and Dustin Neat. Tungate would take the lead from Webb on the high-side of turn two on lap 2, with Watson winning a three-wide battle with Neat and Keltner to hold on to third, as Neat would take fourth. As Tungate and Webb attempted put some distance on Watson, Lee Devasier would make his into the top five by getting by Keltner on lap 4. The front duo of Tungate and Webb would open their advantage over Watson even more by lap 6, as Neat closed in on Watson and that pair would battle wheel-to-wheel for the third position before Neat would claim the spot on lap 9. The race leaders began working traffic on lap 11 and Webb would pull along Tungate, but could not muster the power to execute the pass. As Tungate and Webb continued the battle for the point, the remainder of the top would string out a bit at this point until a caution waved on lap 18 for debris on the track from Terry Keltner's entry. The restart would see Webb dive beneath Tungate in turns one and two and lead momentarily, only to have Tungate back in front and the line, while Devasier would work past Watson for fourth. The final caution would appear on lap 19 as Johnny Wheeler would roll to stop on the backchute. The front five would remain the same after the final restart and Tungate would roll to career win #29 at Bluegrass Speedway aboard the Logan and Jane Parrott owned, Campbellsville University/Darrell Morrison Mechanical/Osborne Construction/Bright's Carpet Service/Commonwealth Building Products/Wilson Plumbing/ABC Child Care/ Barnes Auto Sales/B&W Auto Recyclers/Jeff's Food Mart/Cox Properties/Smoke Pit BBQ/Heritage Hills Molding/WMB Motorsports/JET Pressure Washing sponsored #18 C.J. Rayburn Race Car, Pro Power Race Engines machine. Webb, Neat, Devasier, and Watson would round out the top five, with the remainder of the top ten being Joey Jones, Ed Behn, Dylan Preston, Clarence Belcher, and Terry Keltner. Webb would be the top qualifier among 15 entries and would also win the dash, while Neat would claim the heat win.
