DUBUQUE, Iowa (July 22) - Once again it was time for the Dubuque County Fair and once again the rain just couldn't stay away. Tuesday night Dubuque and the tri-state area was hammered with rain. The track was left a muddy swamp. SPI with the help of Callahan construction and McDermett excavating got the track race ready for the Wednesday night stock car races.

Two, Three and Four wide racing right off that bat in the Late Model feature with Joel Callahan taking the early race lead. Jason Rauen was bad fast and on the move taking over the race lead on lap two. By lap three Rauen had almost a straight away lead over the second postion. Darin Mish drove his number 79 car to the second position on lap four. Mish was starting to catch the leader Rauen after he met lap traffic on lap six.

Andy Eckrich wanted some of the action up front and took over the second position on lap eight. Lap 10 Rauen and Eckrich went side by side for the lead with Rauen leading by a nose. Rauen and Eckrich continued to battle it out for the lead after several restarts. Rauen put his fast late model into victory lane ahead of Eckrich, Jake Meier, Ron Klein and Jeff Larson.

Jeremy Bickett took the early race lead in the Limited Stock feature. Bickett's lead did not last to long when he spun out in turn one in front of the field collecting Thomas Thompson and a few others. Troy Bauer took the race lead after the restart and continued to lead his way to the checkered flags ahead of Steve Vannetta, Steve Miller, Brian Kammerude and Bickett.

Other fair race winners were Ron Barker (Modified), Andrew Burk (Stock Car), Tim Current (B-modified) and Josh Chambers (Farley Flyers)
