BUSHA PICKS UP WIN IN SUPER LATE MODEL ACTION AT THE TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK

EASTABOGA, Ala. (July 18) - Buddy George led wire-to-wire to pick up the "Clyde Haynes Memorial" race at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on Saturday Night.

George earned $1,000 for the victory in the sportsman championship event.

Logan Yates finished in the second spot with Dallas Cooper third. Tyler Hurst finished fourth with Adam Cummings rounding out the top five.

Tim Busha picked up the win in Super Late Model action over Chris Jones in the runner-up spot and Dingus Griffin third. Quick qualifier Danny Peoples finished fourth with Phillip Kilpatrick fifth.

Jerry Goodwin won the twenty-lap Crate Late Model feature event over Adam Martin second and Jimmy Elkins third.

IMCA Modified action went four-wide for the lead for the first several laps before Tony Gray took charge for the win. Kevin Waddell finished in the second spot with David Griffin third.

Mike Blakeney won the fifteen lap Thundercar feature event over Tony Miles in second and Steven Forsythe third.

Shane Ferguson won the Street Stock feature event with Phillip Runfola winning the Hot Shot Feature.

Action continues this Saturday Night July 25th with the annual running of the "Michael Head Jr. Memorial Race" featuring the O'Reilly Southern All-Star Super Late Models in a fifty-four lap feature event paying $5,400 to win. All other divisions will also be in action.
