QUINCY, Ill. (June 28) - Keith Pratt took home the biggest payday of his career on Sunday, June 28 during the Titan Wheel and Tire Late Model Topless Shootout at Quincy Raceways. Pratt led every lap of the fifty lap event but it sure was not without drama as Mark Burgtorf pulled even with Pratt on several laps during the closing circuits but Pratt held Burgtorf at bay to take the win by a little over three tenths of a second while Jason Frankel put the pressure on Burgtorf for the second spot.. Burgtorf settled for second at the checkered flag with Jason Frankel in third, Lonnie Bailey in fourth and Justin Reed in fifth. Billy Genenbacher, Lonnie Bailey and Justin Reed were the heat race winners with Burgtorf taking the win in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Trophy Dash which determined the first six starting spots for the 50 lap main event. Reed now holds an eight point advantage over Bailey in the points battle as the season approaches mid-season.
