CUMBERLAND, Md. (June 27) - Rick Singleton hit the winning combination, pulling away from the competition to win the Limited Late Model feature on Saturday night at The Rock, Allegany County Speedway.

The win was Singleton's first of the season at The Rock. Other first-time feature winners included Nick Iski in the 4-Cylinders and Jimmy Sacco in the Hobby Stocks. Dave Brown and Ray Shepherd both won for the third time in the Street Stocks and 6/8-Cylinders classes.

Singleton was in control from the outset of the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature. Starting from the front row, Singleton took off ahead of pole-sitter Matt Cosner, Matt Parks and Tim Smith Jr., and Daniel Cornman.

Parks got second three laps into the feature but Singleton was long gone. Only the cautions kept Singleton's lead to a minimum. The first two came at lap eight and the final one came on lap 11.

By the finish, Singleton built a 2.9 second lead over Parks. Cornman finished third after swapping the spot with Smith on two occasions. Smith and D.J. Troutman completed the top five.
