MILLERSBURG, Ohio (June 26) - All five divisions were chasing after the Midseason Championship crowns on Friday night at the 1/3 mile oval of Hilltop Speedway with three drivers checking in to victory lane for the 1st time this year. Starting the night out were the S & S Construction Super Late Models with Doug Drown leading the pack at the drop of the green flag followed by Ashland's Ryan Markham and Scott Peltz. Those two would go side by side in the early stages of the race with George Lee on their rear bumpers. After the race's only caution on lap 11 for Dave Hornikel, Markham took control of second place and set his sights on Drown, the dash winner, and powered past him on lap 17 and then pulled away for his second straight win aboard the CC Performance #5m. Quick timer Lee moved past Peltz with six circuits to go for third as Tom Baker came from a 11th starting spot to take fifth. Justin Chance and Keith Berner won the heats as Jeff Esbenshade topped the last chance race.
