Dubuque Speedway DUBUQUE, Iowa (June 14) - It was a great sunny night for racing at the Dubuque Speedway. Ace Ihm took the early lead in the Late Model feature on Sunday night. Unfortunately a caution was called and a restart was set. After the restart Jim Brokus took over the race lead with Ihm, Justin Kay and Jon Rogers racing three wide for the second position. Kay was scored in second on lap two and was on the move to challenge leader Brokus by lap four. Kay was unable to grab the lead until lap five. By lap 14 Kay had about a half straight away lead over Brokus in second. On lap 16 a caution was called for the 16 car of Dan Shelliam after a fire started under the hood. Kay continued to lead after the restart. A caution was called yet again for Andy Eckrich who was running in fourth when he stopped up against the turn three wall. The fans rose to their feet when they say Justin Mitchell who was running in fifth get together with Jason Rauen and go up in the air and land back on top of Rauen while slowing down for the caution. Kay held onto his lead after the restart and had a straight away lead over the field by lap 23. Kay took home his first NASCAR Weekly Racing Late Model feature win ahead of Jeff Larson, Ihm, Jake Meier and Ron Klein.

The Modified featured started with Jason Schueller taking the race lead. The real battle was for the second position with three wide racing on lap four and five. Tony Vondresky was on the move, moving to third on lap six then to second on lap seven and on lap eight challenged Schueller for the lead. Schueller and Vondresky went side by side on the backstretch on lap nine but Vondresky fell back to fourth. Vondresky while racing in fourth spun out causing a lap 11 caution. Schueller continued to lead but this time with Mike Weidemann hot on his heels. Weidemann took over the lead on lap 12 and was making good ground on the remaining field. But on lap 15 Weidemann got the wall and his lead shortened a bit. Vondresky was once again on the move to second on lap 16 then took over the race lead on the final lap taking home the checkered flags. Coming in second was Weidemann, third was Schueller , Fourth was Ron Barker and Fifth was Ryan Deshaw.
Other feature win went to Andrew Burk in Stock Cars, Tim Current in B-Modifieds, Thomas Thompson in Limited Stocks and Matt Rolloff in Farley Flyers.
