CORNING, Iowa (June 13) - Kids had dollar signs in their eyes during the Chat Mobility Kids Money Grab Night at the Adams County Speedway in Corning, IA on Saturday night. Kids lined the front stretch during intermission and grabbed as much of $750 in coins as they could. Drivers also did some great battling of their own on the track.

Lightning Leon Zeitner lived up to his nickname Saturday night. Zeitner passed Ryan Vicker for the lead in the Barker Implement Late Model class 10 laps into the race. Zeitner flew through the race and never looked back from there. Chris Spieker methodically moved through the field and chased down Zeitner near the end of the race. A caution flag reset the field for a six lap shootout. Zeitner was able to fend off Spieker for the victory.

"Not bad for an old-timer," Zeitner said in victory lane. "I lost all my front brakes with just a few laps to go, so I had to hang on for all it was worth. I knew I had Spieker on my tale but it's nice to win my first feature of the season."

"We tried something different tonight with a gear to gain more speed," he said. "I think it really helped us."

Spieker claimed 2nd, Paul Glendenning 3rd, Al Zeitner 4th and Corey Zeitner 5th.
