QUINCY, Ill. (May 31) - Mark Burgtorf, Justin Reed, Chris Wibbell and Larry Powell all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways on Sunday, May 31 during Bank of Quincy Night at the Races.
Burgtorf and Jason Frankel put on the show in the Budweiser IMCA Late Model main event trading the lead numerous times during the early stages of the thirty lapper. Burgtorf gained the lead for the final time on the seventh lap and held Frankel at bay the rest of the distance to take his third points win of the year. Frankel held on to the second spot but fast closing Denny Woodworth rallied to third on the final lap followed by Joey Gower in fourth and Lonnie Bailey in fifth. Burgtorf and Nick Ingalls were the heat race winners with Bailey taking home the hardware in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Trophy Dash Series.
