SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (May 30) - The Late Model feature saw Jeremy Manes take early advantage of his front row starting spot to lead the opening 3 laps with Adam Brown staying close. On lap 4 Brown shot to the top groove and grabbed the lead as Ken Essary, Justin Wells and Chris Morelock were coming quickly from back in the 5th row. On lap 9 a 3 wide battle found Wells the 2 time IMCA National champion shoot to the inside of leader Brown and split the difference with Essary to take charge of the field and grab the 20 lap feature event with Essary taking over the runner-up spot with Brown early leader Manes and Morelock following.
