LAKEVILLE, Ohio (May 23) - Four new winners made it to the winners circle on Gribbles IGA night with only one repeat winner.Ryan Eddleblute gathered in his very first career win in the Hamlin Racing Engines Late Model A main with Caleb Griffith making his first visit to Lakeville a successful one with his win in the Loudenville Tire sponsored Winged Sprints. The name Haven has been a staple at Lakeville for many years and it was Dave Haven Sr winning the Americas Best Siding Pure Stock finale. The 2008 Mini Stock Champion,Jordan James got back on his winning ways by taking the feature win in the 4 cylinder Bomber division.Steve Hinton Jr was the only returnee to the podium as he made it two in a row in the Classic Cruisers.

Eddleblute had finished in the runner up spot in his heat race and lined in the sixth spot on the grid for the A main. The front row was made up with of Eric Eicholtz and Coby Bartram with Gary Hensel and Charlie Duncan in row two.Eicholtz blasted to the lead and stayed out front for the first twelve laps with Bartram putting extreme pressure on Eicholtz for the first four laps until a caution flag was shown for a three car tangle involving Terry McIntire,Chad Hamilton and Steve Shaffer. On the restart Eddleblute went to the high side and took the runner up spot away from Bartram as J.R.Gentry was on his way forward from starting seventh. After another yellow,Eddleblute staged his charge to the point as he cleared Eicholtz for the point position.Gentry then moved up onto the tail of Eicholtz with Duncan also was glued to the pack.Lap nineteen showed another slow down with the caution flag flying for Shaffer. On the single file restart,Eddleblute was not to be denied his first career win, however the racing behind the leader was very close with the other top five drivers competing for those front spots. The checkered lap had Eddleblute in his Ron Eddleblutes Garage,Donalson Law Office sponsored number 25 first across the finish line with Eicholtz second,Gentry third,Duncan in fourth and Bartram taking fifth.Heat wins went to Charlie Duncan and Mike Lonas.
