Steve Hixson WOODSTOCK, Ga. (October 25) - Saturday night the Dixie Speedway hosted some of NASCAR's elite in a charitable ALL-STAR 25 lap dirt Super Late Model race. Children's Health Care of Atlanta is the reciepant of the proceeds as drivers such as Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Ray Evernham and many others joined Bill Elliott of his event at the Northern Georgia dirt track. After an intensive autograph session, the racers climbed behind the wheels of various SLM's. Ken Schrader, driving a Clint Smith preparred GRT racecar, was victorious over Stewart whom piloted a Rocket, prepped by recent WORLD 100 winner Shane Clanton. Dave Blaney took third in Dale McDowell's Warrior machine with David Gilliland and Kahne rounding out the Top 5. In the $5,000. to-WIN main event for Dirt SLM's aces Clanton took the win over McDowell. South Carolina's Chris Madden was third with Smith and Ray Cook rounding out the Top 5.
