JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (October 3) - Ponderosa Speedway presented the 2nd Annual Friday Night Rumble on Friday evening and Jason Keltner of Campbellsville, KY would claim his second straight win in the event in the $2,000 to win Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model feature event. Other Friday Night Rumble winners included Jason Wheatley of Loretto, KY in Hardee's Modifieds, Bryan Bernhardt of Clearwater, FL in Kentucky National Guard Pro Late Models, and Bartley Grant of Berea, KY in SkyTower Power Race Engines Sportsman.

Victor Lee would take the lead at the drop of the green flag of the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model main event, with Jason Keltner, Aaron Hatton, Jeff Watson, and Zach Carney in tow. The caution flew on lap 3 when Jimmy Crabtree, Jordan Bland, Joey Daniel, and Anthony Adams would tangle in turn two. The restart would see Watson take second from Hatton on lap 3. Lee and Keltner would pull away from the field a bit by lap 6, while Hatton and Carney dueled for fourth. Neat would make it a three-way battle by lap 8 and would go fourth on lap 10, with Carney in fifth. Neat would continue his charge by taking third from Watson on lap 12 as the leaders began to work slower traffic. Keltner would pull alongside Lee on lap 14 and take the top spot in traffic, as Neat began to reel in runner-up Lee at this point. Lap 19 would have Keltner still on the point, with Lee and Neat battling for second, Neat would pass Lee for second on lap 23 and set his sights on Keltner as a way of a battle waged for the fifth through ninth positions. Lap 25 would see the lead duo enter traffic and continue their close-quarter battle, with Keltner coming out victorious for the second straight year aboard the Jeff and Eddie Harrod owned, Harrod Farms/Perry's Auto Sales/Colston Paving/Central Painting #59 Rocket Chassis, Jay Dickens powered machine. Neat would take second, with Lee third, Carney would go fourth, while Dustin Linville would make a last lap pass of Mike Marlar for fifth. Marlar would head up the second five, followed by Watson, David Webb, Greg Johnson, and Chris Combs. Marlar was top qualifier among 32 entries at 13.658 seconds. Heat winners were Lee, Hatton, and Keltner, with Bobby Carrier, Jr. winning the B-main. Dustin Neat and Bobby Wolter, Jr. were provisionals.
