WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio (September 19) - Another great night of racing at Moler Raceway Park finished off the points season for 2008.
In the Sunesis Construction Late Model Division the Track championship was already decided with Sardinia's Barry Doss in a comfortable lead over second place John Whitney Jr. IN racing action it was Doss and Whitney on the front row of the feature courtesy of their heat wins. After three consecutive attempts to start the race and resulting cautions it was decided to begin the event in single file which enabled Barry Doss to start 1st and lead all 25 laps enroute to his fifth feature win of the season. Doss in his AFCO Racing Shocks, Howser's Discount & Garage Sponsored machine in full control throughout the feature event but Whitney never let him get more than two or three car lengths out ahead. Despite numerous cautions that seemed to carry out the event, Doss led Whitney, Robbie Hensley, Larry Pickelheimer Jr, and Dillon Huron to the stripe.
