DICKSON DOUBLES IN SUPER LATE MODELS ACTION AT FORT PAYNE MOTOR SPEEDWAY

FORT PAYNE, Ala. (September 13) - Gar Dickson, of Flintstone, AL, won the 25 lap Super Late Model feature race on Saturday night to make it two out of three at Fort Payne Motor Speedway. Dickson outran Robert Gant of Flat Rock, AL for his second straight win on the 3/8-mile clay oval.

Dickson started on the inside of the front row with Robert Gant, of Flat Rock, AL on the outside. The two contenders ran side by side for three laps with Kyle May, of Pisgah, AL in a close third. When Gant fell back into second Dickson was able to stretch out a lead of about three car lengths and went on to lap a lot of the competition.

May wound up third behind Gant with Lucas Burns, of Attalla, Al finishing fourth and Marty May, of Pisgah, AL rounded out the top five.

The next event at Fort Payne Motor Speedway will be Sunday, September 21st with the NeSmith Chevrolet Late Models National Series Fall Nationals 40, A Hobby Stocks, B Hobby Stocks, and Pony Stocks.
