BARDSTOWN, Ky. (September 13) - Bluegrass Speedway returned to racing on Saturday evening and Roger Cecil of Bardstown, KY picked up the $400 to win special for the WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman division. Dustin Neat of Dunnville, KY would claim his third 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model victory of the season, while Benji Lee of Raywick, KY bagged his fourth Kentucky Cooperage Modified feature win of the season, with Robbie Settles of New Hope, KY picking up his first Street Stock victory of the year.

Jason Keltner would take the lead at the start of the 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model feature event, only to have Brad Neat fire a slidejob in turn two on lap 2 to momentarily take the lead, as Dustin Neat would dive beneath both racers and go from third to first as the trio entered turn three. The first of two cautions waved on lap 3 when Lee Devasier would loop his machine in turn three, with Devasier pulling pitside with suspension problems on his mount. Back underway, the Neat brothers were still first and second, with Keltner battling with Steve Barnett for third, and Jeff Watson going fifth. Barnett would nip Keltner at the line for third on lap 4, but the pair would make contact entering turn one, with both drivers saving their mounts, with Keltner going back into third. Dustin Neat would begin to slowly pull away from Brad Neat by lap 8, while Jeff Watson was pressuring Barnett for fourth and would take the position on lap 9. Dustin Neat would begin to work slower traffic on lap 11, giving himself a bit more breathing room on brother Brad Neat, who still held down second. Dustin Neat would have pull out to a bit more of lead by lap 16, but Brad Neat would begin to reel in older brother Dustin Neat at this point. Johnny Wheeler would pressure Barnett for fifth at this juncture of the race, with Wheeler rolling past Barnett for fifth on lap 20. The final caution the 25 lap affair flew on lap 21 as Joe Janowski would spin in turn two. The final few circuits would be a classic battle between the Neat brothers as Brad grabbed the top spot on lap 22, with would clip the concrete in turn one on lap 23, with Dustin pulling back alongside Brad in turn three and four, with Dustin retaking the lead as the duo took the white flag. Dustin Neat would hold off brother Brad on the final lap and score his third win of the season in his NWN Distributing/Neat's Service Center/Neat Brothers Distributing/Kentucky Proud/ Begley Properties/Tarter Gate/Barnett Construction sponsored #25 MasterSbilt Race Car, Estes Race Engines powered machine. Brad Neat would go second, with Keltner third, Watson fourth, and Wheeler fifth. The remainder of the top ten would be Barnett, Scotty Earl, Bryant Woodcock, Rob Starkey, and Joe Janowski. Dustin Neat was top qualifier, while Brad Neat won the dash, and Lee Devasier would win the heat.
