PIR Media PADUCAH, Ky. (September 12) - Taking the lead on the white flag lap, Jason Feger of Bloomington, IL won the 40-lap Coakley Memorial, his first of the season. PIR regular Terry English of Benton was a close second with invader Brian Shirley of Chatham, IL third. Four heat races were necessary for the 33 car field, son by Feger, Kevin Claycomb, Brad Neat, and Dennis Erb. Semi feature checkered flags went to Steve Sheppard and local driver Jeff Walston. After finishing second in his heat, NASCAR's Ken Schrader, winner of the Tri Track Challenge May 30, was fourth in the main event.
