PLYMOUTH, Wisc. (August 9) - It was Miller Night at the Races this past Saturday at Plymouth Dirt Track. The grandstands were full and the weather was great.

Late Models were first in the rotation for the evening. Billy Rezutek, Big Bend, started on the pole this week in the feature after starting outside pole for the last three weeks. With a string of bad luck in the last few weeks, Rezutek wasn't able to pull off a victory. This week was a different story. Rezutek used the high groove to hold off Brad Mueller, Random Lake,  and Russ Scheffler, Waukesha, who were door to door for a handful of laps. Scheffler was able to get around Mueller for second. Mueller was third. Craig Schueffner, Sheboygan Falls, was fourth. Rick Scheffler, Waukesha, rounded out the top five for the Late Model feature.

Heat winners for the Late Models were: Scott Specht of Sheboygan Falls and Randy Markwardt of Sheboygan.
