VICKSBURG, Miss. (July 30) - After a weekend away from racing Bub McCool will invade Alabama and Mississippi this weekend for a pair of events in his #57j Trakstar/Barker Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Last Saturday, McCool was planning to attend the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (M.S.C.C.S.) event at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi, but widespread rain nixed the program.

This weekend Bub will look to conquer Mother Nature and return to action. Bub picked up a win at North Alabama Speedway back in March. For more information, please visit www.NorthAlabamaSpeedway.com or www.AMPSeries.com .

On Saturday night, the action will move to Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the Bullring Brawl, which will be co-sanctioned by the M.S.C.C.S. and A.M.P. Super Late Models going head to head in a $2,500 to win/$300 to start, 50 lap event at the 1/3 mile, high-banked oval.
