TRUMANN, Ark. (July 30) - This weekend Beard Motorsports and driver, Kyle Beard, will return to Arkansas Motorsports Professionals (A.M.P.) action with a pair of events in his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Last weekend, the team traveled to Missouri for a pair of events at two venues where Beard Motorsports had never previously competed. On Saturday night, the team made the tow to Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri for a $3,000 to win O'Reilly M.A.R.S. vs. Allstate D.L.R.A. Super Late Model event. However, just as the team arrived at the track, heavy rains drenched the ¼ mile oval forcing the postponement of the event.

On Sunday night, the action moved to Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri for a $2,000 to win challenge event between the O'Reilly M.S.R.A. and Allstate D.L.R.A. Super Late Models. With 38 Super Late Models signed in for battle, Kyle started 5th in his heat race and was battling for the 3rd position, when his right rear tire went flat. As a result, Kyle would not finish his heat race and was forced to start at the back of one of the twin b-mains. Beard would advance to a 6th place finish, which was short of a transfer spot. As a result, Kyle utilized an O'Reilly MSRA provisional for the feature event. In the main event, Kyle's luck would take a turn for the better as he charged from his 22nd starting position to an 11th place finish. Along the way he earned the Larry Shaw Race Cars Hard Charger Award. Kyle is currently fifth in the latest edition of the O'Reilly M.S.R.A. Super Late Models point standings.

This weekend, Kyle will resume action with the A.M.P. Super Late Model Series. On Friday, August 1st, Kyle will make his second appearance of 2008 at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama for a $1,500 to win/$200 to start event. For more information, please visit www.NorthAlabamaSpeedway.com or www.AMPSeries.com .

On Saturday, Beard Motorsports will travel south to the Baddest Bullring in the South for a M.S.C.C.S Vs. A.M.P. Super Late Model Challenge event. The event tabbed "The Bullring Brawl" will pay $2,500 to win and $300 to start for the 50 lap event at the 1/3 mile, high banked, red clay oval. Kyle Beard would like to thank his sponsors including KB Transport, Gary Beard Trucking, Samuel's Performance Engines, Engines Inc., Mean Street Motors, Inc., Extreme Graphix (Jonesboro, AR), Bill Frye Motorsports, and MSRMafia.com Marketing Services.
