Ben Shelton CHARLESTON, Mo. (July 22) - On Friday night, Todd Hall Motorsports traveled to Auto Tire & Parts Racepark in Benton, Missouri for a FasTrak Crate Late Model Series event, where he picked up his third feature win of the 2008 campaign.
Todd was in action behind the wheel of his #99 Mastersbilt/604 Racing Engine Crate Late Model. Hall started 6th in his heat race, and advanced to a second place finish. Via his runner-up finish in his heat race, Todd earned the outside front row starting position for the feature event. At the drop of the green flag, he bolted to the lead and went on to pick up his third feature win of the 2008 season.
Todd is currently 2nd in the FasTrak Late Model point standings and only eight points out of the top spot, behind the leader Billy James. This weekend Hal will continue his pursuit of the title as he travels to an event at Clay County Speedway in Flora, Illinois. The event pays $1,200 to win and $100 to start. On August 8th and 9th, Todd Hall Motorsports will enter a pair of O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model events in Missouri and Arkansas. On Friday, August 8th the action gets underway at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri with a $2,000 to win/$300 to start event. On Saturday, August 9th, the action will shift to Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas for a $2,000 to win/$400 to start event. Hall is currently waiting on his new Mastersbilt Chassis to arrive, so he will most likely enter his Crate Late Model in both of these events.
