BRIGHT, Ind. (July 10) - The Jam-Pow Motorsports team traveled to Ohio and Tennessee over the busy 4th of July holiday weekend for a trio of $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows.  On Thursday night, July 3, Scott James finished twenty-second in the 'Crenos 50' at the Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio after running fourth in his heat race. Up next for the #83 team was another $10,000 to win event at the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday evening, July 5.  Unfortunately, Scott barely missed out on transferring into the 60-lap main event after finishing sixth in his heat race and fifth in his B-Main.

The weekend finale for the "Silver Shark" took place on Sunday, July 6 at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee.  Scott ran fourth in his heat race to advance into the 75-lap A-Main, where he wound up twentieth in the final rundown.  Following the tripleheader weekend, the Bright, Indiana driver finds himself seventh in the latest version of the 2008 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings.  You can view complete results from these three races online at www.lucasdirt.com.

The #83 team will be back in action this upcoming weekend in two more Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events in Alabama and Mississippi.  A $7,000 to win show will be held this Friday night, July 11 at the North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama.  The action will then turn to the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday evening for a $10,000 to win race.  The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at the "Baddest Bullring in the South" on Saturday to tape all of the slicing and dicing for broadcast later in the year.  You can learn more about these two events online at www.lucasdirt.com.
