BARDSTOWN, Ky. (July 5) - It was 5th Annual Topless Terror Night at Bluegrass Speedway on Saturday night, with the 44 Auto Mart Super Late Models and Kentucky Cooperage Modifieds racing with the roofs removed from the cars and Tim Prince of Heltonville, IN would pick his first ever 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model feature win at Bluegrass Speedway and Jeff Stith of Louisville, KY would score his first event Kentucky Cooperage Modified feature victory. Other feature winners included Pat Hagan of New Haven, KY in WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman action and Jason Priddy of Weasetown, KY in Street Stock action.

Johnny Wheeler would jump to the lead at the start of the 44 Auto Mart Super Late Model feature, followed by Dustin Neat, Bryant Woodcock, Tim Prince, and Greg Johnson. Prince would take third on lap 3, with Jacob Webber coming to fourth. Johnson would take fourth on lap 4, moving Webber back a spot. As Wheeler began to stretch his lead, Lee Devasier would charge into the top five on lap 6. By lap 10, Neat would begin to close in on Wheeler, but Wheeler would pull away again by the halfway mark of the race. Things would get hairy beginning on lap 16 when Devasier would explode a right rear tire exiting turn four and Jeff Watson would get crossed up and jump over the barrier tires on the inside of the frontchute and go airborne momentarily, with caution flying for Devasier's shredded tire. Both Devasier, Watson, and Webber would pit with flat tires and return. The restart would be called back when Watson hit the restart cone in turn four, with Watson then pulling to the infield with smoke coming from his machine. Wheeler would lead one more circuit, but would be the cause of the next caution when his mount slowed in turn two and would be pushed back to the pit area. This would put Dustin Neat on the point and the restart would go only one more circuit when mechanical gremlins would strike Devasier, who would stop in turn one and after getting crossed up and would be pushed pitside. Neat would then lead until lap 22 when his mount suffered a flat tire to draw the final caution of the race, with Neat getting fresh rubber and returning. Prince would now assume the top spot and would lead the final four circuits to pick up the feature victory in his Brad's Brass Flamingo/Andis Logging/Lineal Contracting/Sell 4 Free/Prince's Excavating/Vanhorn Graphics/Late Nites sponsored #P1 C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, Spec Race Engines powered mount. Johnson would take runner-up honors, with recovering for third, while Webber would finish fourth, with Devasier being credited with fifth.

The Kentucky Cooperage Modified main event would see Joe Gray lead the first five laps before suffering suspension damage and contacting the frontchute concrete wall, ending his night. This would put Josh Lucas on the point of the race and he, Jeff Stith, and Benji Lee would settle into an outstanding battle for the race lead, only to stopped by a slowed Robbie Gullion on the backchute on lap 13. The restart would definitely see business pick back up at the point and Lucas, Lee, and Stith would battle three-wide for the top spot, with Stith coming out of the middle of that battle in turn two on lap 14 to claim the top spot. The final caution of this event flew on lap 18 when Jason Wheatley rolled his unit to a stop in turn three. The restart would see Stith hold off the charges of Lee over the final three laps to score his first-ever dirt victory as the former asphalt specialist drove his Pain Management/KY Clutch/Stith Motorsports sponsored #94 Dirt Works Chassis, Stith Race Engines powered machine to victory lane. Lee would finish second, while Lucas would nip Randy Turpin for the third position, with Freddy Garmon completing the top five.

In the WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman feature event, it would be the Pat Hagan and Roger Cecil show as this pair would run away from the rest of the field and settle the issue among themselves. Cecil would show Hagan the nose beneath Hagan on several occasions, but it would be Hagan holding Cecil at bay to capture his third Sportsman feature victory of the season at Bluegrass Speedway in the Billy Holbert owned, Century 21/New Haven Car Wash/New Haven NAPA/New Haven Quik Stop/Holbert Record Setters sponsored #88 Chevy Monte Carlo. Cecil would claim second, with Rob Jones taking third, with Avral Thompson fourth, and Elton Martin rounding out the top five.

The Street Stock feature would see Brad Leake lead lap one, only to surrender the position to Willie Edelen on lap 2, with Edelen holding the top spot until lap 7, when Jason Priddy would drive past Edelen for the lead. The pass by Priddy would turn out to be the winning move in the race as Priddy would drive away from the field to pick up his second Street Stock win of the season. Priddy's #11 Chevy Impala is sponsored by the Wells Family and Wease Logging. Robbie Settles would take a runner-up finish, with Johnny Cecil coming home third. The remainder of the top five would be Jason Bartley and Shane Lafollette.
