Ben Shelton COLUMBUS, Miss. (June 26) - Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi, which is known as the "South's Premier Dirt Track," will host the final leg of the Firecracker Three Crown Nationals presented by Cliburn Tank Lines for the Super Late Model Series on Sunday, June 29th.
The series is set to kick off Friday at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), travel to Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for a Saturday event, and then conclude Sunday night at Magnolia Motor Speedway. The three race series will offer $2,000 to win and $200 to start for all three events, with a prize pool for the top 7 in points gathered at the three event series.
Magnolia Motor Speedway will also feature Late Model Stocks, Open Wheel Modifieds, NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Crate Late Model Series, and Street Stocks on the racing program.
TK King and Shay Knight will be on hand to try and keep their winning ways alive. Each driver has already qualified for the Cotton Pickin' 100 in October by already winning at least two main events this season at Magnolia Motor Speedway.
Recent winners Tony Silvestri, Chad Thrash, Jimmy Cliburn, Shawn Edwards, and Dane Dacus are also looking to join the list of drivers, who are locked into the Cotton Pickin' 100, by winning again this Sunday.
Magnolia Motor Speedway's grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. The driver's meeting is scheduled for 6:15 with racing action slated to start at 7:00 PM.
Adult general admission is $15.00 with discounted tickets for seniors, active military, and students with id admitted for only $10.00. Children ages 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Lawn chairs are recommended, small coolers are welcome. No outside alcohol to be brought in at any time. Pit passes are $30.00.
