EASTABOGA, Ala. (June 21) - Terry Smith went three wide, using the low line to take the lead from Danny Peoples and Tim Busha to claim victory in Super Late Model action in front of a packed house in the annual fan appreciation night at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.
Busha would hold on for second spot with Dingus Griffin charging hard for third. Peoples would slip back to fourth with Tim Roszell rounding out the top five.
Adam Martin continued his mid-season dominance winning the Crate Late Model feature event over Curtis Cline in second and Brian Ponder third.
Montana Wyatt won the special Slingshot portion of the program over Chris Achenback and Shawn Carter.
Jackson Hale picked up the Sportsman feature win over Dallas Cooper and Joe Noojin.
David Griffin won the twenty-lap IMCA Modified feature event over David Conner in second and Todd Watson third.
Tony Miles picked up yet another win in Thundercar action over Scott Magouirk in second and Billy Bright in third.
Eric Layfield picked up the Street Stock win with Curtis Busby winning the Hot Shot feature event.
Talladega Short Track is back in action this Saturday Night June 28th featuring the "Tommy Pope Construction 40" featuring the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series in a forty-lap feature event paying $2,000 to win. All other TST divisions will also be in action.
