CUMBERLAND, Md. (June 15) - Dan Zechman, David Puckett, Daniel Cornman and Wade and Ryan Peer took victories on Sunday night The Rock, Allegany County Speedway.

For Zechman, his first Limited Late Model win at The Rock came after he led 19 of 20 laps. Puckett's win was his second in the TC Race Cars Hobby Stock division while Cornman ended up in victory lane after a last-minute decision to get behind the wheel of his Sunoco Street Stock. The father-son duo of Wade and Ryan Peer won the Factory Stock races on Father's Day.

The races were rescheduled due to Friday night's thunderstorms and drivers were greeted with sunny skies for the fifth regular season event of the 2008 season.

Zechman, who started fourth, took the lead after Travis Calhoun's car stumbled out of turn four on lap one. Zechman eventually led by as much as 2.5 seconds over Mike Duck. He saw his lead dwindle to about seven car lengths before the checkered flag.

Four cautions in the event all came before lap four and the field sorted out through the remainder of the race with Zechman, Duck, D.J. Troutman, Jamey Swank and Steve Bard in the top five.

The Rock will continue racing on Friday, June 20 at 7:15 p.m. Promoter Rick Jones has announced additional possible winner's purse increases and a date change for the July 13 race to Saturday, July 12. For more information visit the speedway's web site at www.therockspeedway.com.
