BRIGHT, Ind. (June 12) - Scott James and his #83 team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 6-7 for the 14th Annual 'Dream 100.'

The mega-event at the "Big E" once again boasted a $100,000 top prize. Scott timed in 45th quickest of the 122 entrants during qualifying on Friday night, June 6. When the action resumed at the 1/2-mile, high-banked oval on Saturday, Scott was running competitively in his heat race when an axle broke on his #83 Rocket. Unfortunately, his 'Dream 100' aspirations were over following the mechanical troubles and he was forced to watch the 100-lap A-Main from the stands. You can view complete results from Eldora online at www.eldoraspeedway.com!

Following the 'Dream 100,' the Jam-Pow Motorsports team will tackle a trio of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events this upcoming weekend.  The tripleheader weekend, which kicks off tonight, June 12, will take the #83 team through the states of Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

The Duck River Speedway in Wheel, Tennessee will play host to the first event of the weekend tonight, June 12, as the Volunteer State speedplant will pay $7,000 to win. The second show will then take place on Friday, June 13 at the North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia where a $10,000 top prize is up for grabs.  Another $10,000 winner's check is on the line in Saturday's finale at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.  The cameras of the SPEED Channel will be on hand at TST to tape all of the exciting action for broadcast later in the year.  Scott comes into the three race "Southern Swing" tied for fifth in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings.  You can view additional information on the busy weekend online at www.lucasdirt.com.
