EASTABOGA, Ala. (June 7) - In a classic battle, Tim Roszell edged out Tim Busha to pick up his second win of the season in Super Late Model action at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on a hot Saturday Night.
Roszell used the high side with Busha along the bottom. The two ran side-by-side for several laps with Roszell edging out Busha at the line for the victory.
Busha finished in the second spot with Danny Peoples third. Terry Smith finished fourth with James Cline rounding out the top five.
Current TST point's leader Adam Martin picked up another win in the Crate Late Model division over Jason Hiett in second and Corey Korreckt in third.
Jason Wilson picked up the win in Sportsman action over Jackson Hale in second and Dallas Cooper third.
David Griffin picked up the win in the twenty-lap IMCA Modified feature event over Tony Gray in second place and David Newton in third.
Scott Magouirk won the fifteen-lap Thundercar feature over Bubba Haynes in second and Bradley Grogan in third.
Eric Layfield won the Street Stock feature event with Richard Morrow finding victory lane in Hot Shot action.
Action resumes at TST this Saturday Night featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in a fifty-lap feature paying $10,000 to win in front of the Speed Channel Cameras.
Pits open at 12 Noon with Grandstands opening at 3PM. Hot Laps are scheduled for 5:30PM.
