SOUTH PARK, Penn. (June 3) - The 2007 Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) Champion Jared Miley and Jared Miley Racing have seemed to found their stride here early in the 2008 season after picking up wins at PPMS on Saturday, May 24th and Lernerville Speedway on Friday, May 30th. 'The track was real slick,' mentioned Miley in victory lane at Lernerville Speedway on May 30th. 'It was a tough race, the car was tight but it actually helped me get through the corners. We've been good the past few weeks, we just haven't found victory lane.'
Miley also competed in a pair of UFO Championship Tour events. The first was 'The Grizzly' at Central PA Speedway in Clearfield, PA on Sunday May 25th and the other was dubbed the 'F-2 Shockwave' Twin 30's at PPMS on Sunday, June 1st. Jared literally held on for a third place finish at Central PA Speedway and followed that strong showing up with a fourth place finish after starting 12th in the first 30 lap event at PPMS and then bettered his finish in the second 30 lapper crossing the line second after starting 11th. Jared now sits second in the UFO Championship Tour point standings, a mere 13 points behind leader Alex Ferree and leads the Pizza Hut Super Late Models point standings at PPMS.
Jared Miley and Jared Miley Racing would also like the welcome a new sponsor to the #H1 team. The All-State Insurance - Chuck Hendershot Agency has signed on as a new marketing partner for the race team. 'We want to thank All-State insurance for jumping on board with us as well as all of our sponsors,' Jared graciously quipped. 'Without our sponsors none of this would be possible and we appreciate all they do for us.'
This weekend Jared will be in action at Lernerville Speedway on Friday, June 6th, and PPMS on Saturday, June 7th for regular shows at both Western PA facilities.
