MARYVILLE, Tenn. (June 2) - The Mountain Raceway Park and Fairgrounds welcomes the O'reilly Southern-allstars to Nascar family night featuring special guest former Nascar star Ernie Irvan on saturday June 7th. Presented by Stanley Best Heating & Air and Flanagin & Son Roofing.

On saturday June 7th the O'rielly Southern-Allstars will be invading the Mountain Raceway with exciting 3 wide, door to door racing action. The drivers will be competeing for the $5,000 to win prize in the 60 lap Nascar family night June Bug 60. Driver will be coming from all over the southeast including 2007 O'riely champion Ivedent lyod, 17 year old 2008 Rookie of the year candidate Dillon Wood, Skip Arp Georgetown,TN , Todd Marrow Cleveland,TN , Dale McDowell Chickamauga,Ga , Joe Armes Petros,TN , David Payne Murphy, NC , Riley Hickman Chattanooga,TN and many other southern hottest wheelman.

Also competing against the out of town invaders will be local driver 2007 Champion Bobby Giffin, Dusty Carver, Mark Vinyard, Mike Weeks, Billy 'The Kid' Ogle Jr., 'Crabdaddy' David Crabtree, Tony Martin, Roger Best and many of your other favorite local drivers. Come and see if our drivers can put a hurt'in on the out of town invaders.

We will also have a very special guest in attendance for the nights events. Former Nascar star and racing safety advocate Ernie Irvan. Irvan is probably best know for his stint in the number 28 Robert Yates owned Havoline car, but his career span over 12 years begining with his first race in 1987 until his retirement from racing in 1999. These days Irvan can be found speaking at Race2Saftey seminars, where Irvan is spreading the awareness and dangers brain injures in racing. Irvan knows all to well about that subject after suffering a near fatal crash at Michigan Speedway in 1994. Irvan will be on hand to sign autographs, meet an greet with the fans and take in the heat racing action of the Mountain Raceway.

If that's already not enough action for you, all six of our other weekly classes will also be running that night. So bring the whole family out to meet Nascar legend Ernie Irvan and get ready for an action packed night of racing action at the Mountain Raceway Park and Fairgrounds.

Genral admission ticket prices for the Nascar Family Night are: Adults $20, kids $5. Racing action begins at 6:30pm est. So get there early so can be sure to get a seat.
