Chuck Griffith LAKEVILLE, Ohio (May 30) - Jason Flory from Creston,Ohio made his second visit to the New Lakeville Speedway a very special one as he drove his McIlvain Motorsports sponsored # 02 late model to his first win of the year.Points leader Clint Coffman was lined up in the front row on the outside of Flory with Wes Morrison and Eric Eicholtz filling in the second row.In the early stages of the feature event,Coffman hung to the rear bumper of the leader,Flory and behind those two Eicholtz and John Reasor was side by side for several laps.Morrison made several runs on the second place runner Coffman but could not complete the pass as he worked the high side of the track. At about mid race laps,Flory pulled away to a sizable lead, however a lap 14 caution flag tightened the field again and Coffman mounted a charge on Flory but could not gather the leader in.Past track champion,Mike Lonas struggled early in the event but he found something in the latter stages and came from starting seventh to record yet another top five finish.Final finishing position were Flory with the win,Coffman second,Morrison driving to a third place finish,Eicholtz finishing a strong fourth and Lonas at fifth.
