FLIPPIN, Ark. (May 19) - After a weekend off from racing Dusty Johnston will return to action this weekend behind the wheel of his #16 GRT By Frye/Kuntz & Co. Racing Engine Super Late Model this weekend in the 16th Annual Show Me 100 at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri.

Johnston was last in action two weeks ago in a pair of O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model events at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi. It was an extremely successful weekend for Johnston as he picked up a 2nd place finish on Friday night and backed it up with a 4th place finish in Saturday night's event.

"After our rough start to the year, it was great to pick up a pair of top fives at Greenville, especially when you consider the caliber of cars that were on hand. It really boosted the team's confidence, and we are excited about returning to the Show Me 100 this coming weekend", commented Johnston.

This weekend Dusty and Johnston Motorsports will travel to West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri for the 16th Annual O'Reilly Show Me 100. The event pays $42,000 to win and $4,200 to start. Don Gibson is notorious for preparing one of the smoothest and raciest surfaces in the nation. Don had to have open heart surgery in the off season, but he has made a full recovery and is rejuvenated at the thought of the action-packed, 2008 racing season at West Plains Motor Speedway and the 16th Annual O'Reilly Show Me 100.

Action gets underway on Thursday night with an open practice from 7pm to 9:30pm. On Friday night, time trials will be held as well as six 20 lap heat races. The event concludes on Saturday night with three b-mains and the 100 lap main event. For more information, please visit www.WestPlains-Speedway.com .
