VICKSBURG, Miss. (May 15) - Bub McCool and McCool Motorsports will travel to South Mississippi Speedway in Long Beach, Mississippi this Saturday, May 17th for a Mississippi Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event.
Last Saturday, McCool competed at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi in a $1,500 to win Weekly Racing Series Event. Twenty Super Late Models were on hand, and Bub set quick time around the ¼ mile oval, which earned him the pole position for the feature event. McCool battled with Scott Slay for the lead throughout the feature before settling for a second place finish.
This Saturday, May 17th, McCool Motorsports will travel south to South Mississippi Speedway in Long Beach, Mississippi for a $2,500 to win, 40 lap event. Bub has enjoyed success at the ¼ mile in the past and will be looking to pick up his fourth win of the year this weekend. For more information on the event, please visit www.StateSeries.com .
