EASTABOGA, Ala. (May 10) - Tim Roszell led all thirty-laps of the Super Late Model feature to become the eighth different winner in nine races at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL on Saturday Night.
Tim Busha charged hard on the bottom but fell just short finishing in the runner-up position. Dingus Griffin finished in the third spot with Danny Peoples fourth and Chris Mullinax rounding out the top five.
Brian Ponder picked up his first win of the 2008 racing season in Crate Late Model action over Adam Martin in second and Jimmy Elkins in third.
Seth Wilson picked up the special appearance of the Slingshots over Shawn Carter in second and Matthew Wyatt third.
Jackson Hale picked up the win in Sportsman action over Logan Yates in second and Ivan Meeks third.
David Conner Jr. won the IMCA Modified feature event over Tony Gray in second and Michael Pickette third.
Scott Magouirk picked up the win in Thundercar action over Adam Magouirk in second and Al Reynolds third.
Wayne England won the Street Stock feature event while Dustin Mullinax won the ten-lap Hot Shot feature event.
Talladega Short Track resumes this Saturday Night May 17th featuring the Clyde Haynes Memorial Race featuring a $1,500 to win Sportsman feature. All other divisions will also be in action.
Gates open at 4PM with Hot Laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:30.
