JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (May 9) - After being rained out last Friday night, racing action returned to Ponderosa Speedway on Friday evening and Victor Lee of Stanford, KY picked up the $1,500 to win Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model victory. P.J. Feistritzer of Danville, KY made it four straight wins in the Kentucky National Guard Pro Late Model division, with Joey Kramer of Hanover, IN scoring the win in Hardee's Modified action, while Rick King of Junction City, KY was the winner in the SkyTower Power Race Engines Sportsman feature.

The 30 lap, $1,500 to win Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Model feature event saw fifth place starting Jeff Watson slow on the initial start and be pushed pitside with mechanincal problems. After a false start attempt, the third try would be the charm and Victor Lee would take the race lead, followed by Jason Keltner, Dustin Neat, Michael Chilton, and Dustin Linville. Caution flew again on lap 2 when Jerry Fuson slowed in turn two with a flat right front tire. Back under green, Lee continued to lead the way, with Keltner and Neat second and third, while Aaron Hatton would go to fourth past Chilton. Lee would build a sizable lead by lap 10, with Keltner and Neat battling for second, while Linville pressured Chilton for fifth. Chilton would lose fifth to Linville on lap 11, while Neat drove past Keltner for third one circuit later. The next caution flew on lap 16 when Bobby Carrier, Jr. would slow on the frontchute with a flat right-rear tire and would pull to the pit area. The restart would see Chilton drive back around Linville for fifth, while Hatton pressured Keltner for third. Hatton would drive to the three spot past Keltner on lap 18, while Bobby Wolter, Jr. broke into the top five past Chilton on the same lap. The final caution would wave on lap 20 when fourth place Keltner slowed on the track in turn one, with mechanical issues ending his evening. The restart had Lee and Neat still first and second, Hatton third, while Wolter, Jr. and Jordan Bland would go fourth and fifth. The third through fifth place battle would head up and go three-wide on lap 22 before Hatton pulled away a bit from Wolter, Jr. and Bland, while Chilton joined the fray to make it a three-way, three-wide dance on lap 25, with Chilton going from sixth to fourth off of turn two on lap 26. But up front, it was all Victor Lee as he drove away from the field and claimed the win aboard the Frank Revel owned, Kentucky's Best/Budda Bert Transmission Sales and Service/Junction City Quick Stop/Tim Logan Racing/Xtreme Style Signs and Graphics/Five Star Food Mart/ADO's Auto Parts sponsored #4 C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, Jay Dickens powered machine. Neat, Hatton, Chilton, and Linville would complete the top five, with Bland, Wolter, Jr., and David Webb rounding out the eight cars that finished. Lee was the Wayne Bowen Racing Supply top qualifier at 13.769 seconds among 13 entries and also won the dash, while Linville won the heat. Hatton captured Valvoline Six-Pack Hard Charger award.

P.J. Feistritzer would take the lead in the early stages of the Kentucky National Guard Pro Late Model main event and would not be headed the rest of the way to pick up his fourth straight Kentucky National Guard Pro Late Model feature event. The defending Pro Late Model track champion drove his Big Daddy's Auto Sales/Self-Service Storage sponsored #88 C.J. Rayburn Race Cars mount to the checkered flag first, followed by Gary Yeager and Todd Coffman in second and third. Zane Morgan and Tommy Carlton would complete the top five, with the remainder of the finishing order led by Dylan Preston, followed by Jim Wilson and Scott Brewer. Morgan was the Wayne Bowen Racing Supply top qualifier among 8 entries at 14.603 seconds, while Yeager won the heat. Coffman would claim the Pro Late Model feature's Valvoline Six-Pack Hard Charger award.
The 20 lap Hardee's Modified feature event would see Joey Kramer lead all 20 laps, only to be slowed by three cautions en route to the Modified feature event checkered flag first behind the wheel of the Claudette Kramer owned, FOX Cabinets/Wild's Restoration/ Hill's Historic Painting/Bright Beginnings Day Care/Larry's Trucking/PBM Performance Products/Super ATV/NAPA/AFCO Racing Products sponsored #77 Lightning Chassis, Kramer Race Engines powered entry. J.T. Ayers would claim runner-up honors, with Bryan Barber claiming third. Russ Gabbert and Victor Lee would round out the top five. Completing the top ten would be Randy Turpin, Kevin Nesselhauf, Shane McKenney, Kevin Bryant, and Bobby Neal. Ayers would be the Wayne Bowen Racing Supply top qualifier at 15.024 seconds among 15 entries. Kramer scored the dash win, while Lee won the heat. Bryant would pick up the Valvoline Six-Pack Hard Charger award for the Modified feature.

Rick King took the lead from Logan Whitis on lap 2 of the SkyTower Power Race Engines Sportsman feature and the defending Sportsman track champion would drive to his first win of the season in his 3D Trucking/The Muffler Shop/G-Funk Chassis/Brute Force Motors/ The Brake Shop/Stanford Glass/Integrity Metals/Big Daddy's Hobby Shop/Death Valley Kennels/Wayne Bowen Racing Supply sponsored #13D Chevy Monte Carlo. Whitis would hold off Gerald Haynes, Jr. for second, while Troy Scott would nip Bartley Grant for fourth. King was also the Wayne Bowen Racing Supply top qualifier among 9 entries at 16.314 seconds and also won the heat. Sixth place finishing David Smith earned the Valvoline Six-Pack Hard Charger award.
