SOUTH PARK, Penn. (May 7) - Keith Barbara and Forbes Field Motorsports have been staying local during the beginning stages of the 2008 season. Keith visited the Lernerville Speedway the past two Friday's with a trip to Challenger Raceway sandwiched in the middle. Barbara's consistency at Lernerville has him sitting fifth in track points only 11 points out of second.

On Friday, April 25th Keith battled intently with 5-time former track champion John Flinner, 2007 Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway track champion Jared Miley, and veteran Mike Johnson during the 25 lap main event and crossed the finish line with a fifth place finish. The following Sunday at Challenger Speedway it was the first ever race for the Unified Race Championship Tour. Barbara finished his heat fourth to put him in the 15th starting spot for the $5,000 A-Main. Contact with friend and Hall of Famer Lynn Geisler ended the day for the Forbes Field Motorsports team with a 15th place finish. On Friday, May 2nd Keith started the feature event on the outside pole and battled Matt Lux for the lead in the early going. However, Barbara's Comcast / Triangle Benefit Services / Potoka Trucking / Forbes Field Garage / Ran Group Racing Tours sponsored #17 Rocket Chassis developed a nasty push in turns one and two that cost him a few spots to come home with another fifth place finish at the Sarver, PA oval.

Keith Barbara and the Forbes Field Motorsports team would like to announce the release of their brand new 2008 T-Shirts. Fans can purchase the team's new apparel at www.keithbarbara.net or by stopping by the Forbes Field Motorsports pit at any race they attend.
